• Think equality.
    Think Deutsche Bank.

Nikita discusses her career journey at Deutsche Bank, the supportive environment and the equal opportunities that enable women to advance in banking.

Diversity of gender, thought, experience, background and culture adds a lot of value at Deutsche Bank.

I’m Nikita, a Vice President in the EMEA Industrials sector coverage team for Origination and Advisory (O&A), covering the Capital Goods and Industrial Technology sections. I joined Deutsche Bank in 2017 as an intern and then as a full-time Graduate Analyst in 2018 after completing my MBA at IIM Indore. I’ve now been with the bank for over six years and love leading the Graduate Recruitment Programme for O&A in Deutsche India Private Ltd. (DIPL).

Deutsche Bank’s mentorship environment has provided me with important opportunities that have made a strong impact early on in my career. Accessing new expertise and diverse experiences while seeking guidance and mentorship is important to me, and Deutsche Bank provides just the right ecosystem to enable me to do so. It’s been a privilege to benefit from this guidance and, in turn, ensure an equally inclusive culture for my team and junior talents.

  • I have been fortunate to find approachable leaders and mentors who have ensured I have enough avenues to learn and thrive.
  • Mentoring adds immense value to the mentor as you learn to lead by example and are often humbled by learning new and different ways of working.
  • Deutsche Bank encourages women by ensuring equal opportunities, offering challenging roles and projects and providing a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • So many wonderful women have helped me grow professionally and personally. I’ve learned from their experience and guidance to develop my managerial muscles.
