Americas
Deutsche Bank is a leading provider of financial services to agencies, corporations, governments, private individuals and institutions in the Americas.
Deutsche Bank’s roots in the Americas go back to 1872, having financed the northwestern expansion of the railroad. The first established presence in the US was in 1978 when the Bank began independent operations and opened its first North American branch in New York City. Today, the regional headquarters is at 10 Columbus Circle. Deutsche Bank is one of the largest foreign-based employers in New York City.
In October 2001, Deutsche Bank was the first German bank to list on the NYSE.
Deutsche Bank launched its US intermediate holding company, DB USA Corporation, on July 1, 2016, under which most of its US-based operations were consolidated as required by the Dodd-Frank Act.
The Americas region is a core part of the new Deutsche Bank and plays a central role in delivering revenue growth. The region is more connected than ever within the global leadership team. The bank’s solid execution since announcing the new strategy in July 2019 is a positive sign of our future as a stronger, safer, more focused and disciplined bank in the Americas and globally.
Deutsche Bank has offices across the US and in Brazil, Canada and Mexico with key hubs in New York City, Jacksonville and Cary. Learn more about these locations:
