COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. THE PROMOTER
1.1 The promoter is of this completion is Deutsche Bank AG acting through its London branch (“DB”) Winchester House, 1 Great Winchester Street, London, EC2N 2DB
2. THE COMPETITION
2.1 The title of the competition is ‘Big Breakthroughs’.
2.2 Participants will be able to enter the competition via the Events and Resources page on the DB website. https://careers.db.com/students-graduates/big-breakthroughs/ To be entered into the prize draw participants must successfully complete a virtual escape room challenge (the “Escape Room”).
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The competition will run from [2pm GMT] on [17th October 2022] (the "Opening Date") to [11:59PM GMT] on [30th November 2022] (the "Closing Date") inclusive.
3.2 All competition entries must be received by DB via an online entry by no later than [11.59PM GMT] on the Closing Date. All competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
3.3 To enter the competition:
enter the competition by registering online at https://careers.db.com/students-graduates/big-breakthroughs/ and successfully completing the Escape Room. Any participant that successfully completes the Escape Room will be provided with 3 winning codes (the “Winning Code”). The participant will need to enter the winning code for the final room via the final online form to be entered into the competition prize draw.
3.4 There is no charge to register for use of the website and to enter the competition.
3.5 DB will not accept:
3.5.1 responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
3.5.2 proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.
3.6 By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

3.9 Anyone who successfully completes the virtual Escape Room in full will be provided with three winning codes (one per room). On entry of the final winning code into the final online form the participant will automatically be entered into the competition prize draw. The winner will be randomly selected by a random generator. The randomly selected winner will be final.
4. ELIGIBILITY
4.1 The competition is only open to all residents in the UK, US, Germany, Romania, Russia and India aged 18 years or over, except:
4.1.1 employees of DB or its holding or subsidiary companies;
4.1.2 employees of agents or suppliers of the DB or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or
4.1.3 persons in possession of an offer of employment to DB or its holding or subsidiary companies
4.2 In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. DB may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.
4.3 DB will not accept competition entries that are:
4.3.1 automatically generated by computer;
4.3.2 completed by third parties or in bulk;
4.3.3 illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; or
4.3.4 incomplete.
4.4 There is a limit of one entry per person.
4.5 DB reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.
5. THE PRIZE
5.1 The prize is a Macbook Pro and only one participant will win the prize.
5.2 Prizes are subject to availability. There is no cash alternative for the prize.
5.3 The prize is supplied by Radancy, 200 Aldersgate Street, London, EC1A 4HD (the "Supplier"). DB reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the DBs control makes it necessary to do so.
5.4 The prize is not negotiable or transferable.
5.5 DB will contact the winner of the prize via email.
6. WINNERS
6.1 The decision of DB is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
6.2 DB will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Announcement Date, using the email address provided with the competition entry.
6.3 DB must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation DB will publish the names and surnames of major prize winners on the following website https://careers.db.com/students-graduates/big-breakthroughs/ after the Closing Date of the competition.
6.4 If you object to any or all of your surname and county being published or made available, please contact DB at graduate.training@db.com In such circumstances, DB must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
7. CLAIMING THE PRIZE
7.1 Please allow 90 days for delivery of the prize.
7.2 DB will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available DB reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
7.3 DB does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
8.1 Insofar as is permitted by law, DB, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of DB, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
9. DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY
9.1 DB will only process your personal information as set out in the DB privacy policy which can be found at https://www.db.com/legal-resources/privacy-notice?language_id=1&kid=data-protection.redirect-en.shortcut#! See also condition 6.3 and condition 6.4, with regard to the announcement of winners.
10. GENERAL
10.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, DB may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
10.2 DB reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
10.3 These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
